The Tarence Kinsey Foundation
The Tarence Kinsey Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit was established by Tarence Kinsey, Jr. in 2009 for the purpose of establishing and supporting community projects, especially those involving underprivileged children and families in Tampa Bay and the surrounding areas.
The Tarence Kinsey Foundation’s mission is to empower and motivate our youth by developing and fostering goal setting, accountability and social responsibility skills. We will instill a “Yes I can” commitment to achievement with focus on academics, health, physical fitness and career preparedness. Our ultimate vision is to enrich the quality of life for our youth and their families. We have a strong focus on helping kids understand their potential, proper decision making and commitment to family

About The Tarence Kinsey Foundation
TK was a standout player for Jefferson High School in Hillsborough County, he played for University of South Carolina Gamecocks and entered the NBA playing for Memphis Grizzlies and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Following the NBA, he spent 12 years overseas with professional leagues in Spain, Italy, Turkey, Russia, Israel, and Serbia, leading his teams to ten international championships and countless other awards.
In 2020, TK returned to Tampa to pay it forward. The Foundation is currently focused on helping underprivileged students and athletes in Hillsborough County to recognize their potential, develop life skills, and gain exposure to college coaches so they can attain scholarship opportunities. The TKF is currently. Building the “Last Look” program in Hillsborough County inner city high schools.
